Joining Petersfield Youth Theatre

We welcome new members between the ages of 8 and 25 years. Under 8's can join First Steps.

If you are interested in joining Petersfield Youth Theatre or First Steps, please download the appropriate application form and guidelines from below. You may also telephone or e-mail PYT (details below) and give us your name and address, and you will be sent a membership pack. We now accept new members at the beginning of each academic term, in January, April and September.

Please download the PYT Guidelines and read them very carefully. If you like the sound of what PYT is all about, return the signed application form and membership fee by the due date. Strict deadlines will be in place to simplify administration, so please refer to the application forms for the relevant dates and membership fees. When we receive your application we will send out details of the workshops and all other activities.

Membership Fees

We hold termly workshops for PYT Members and First Steps, which usually take place at Steep Village Hall, near Petersfield on Tuesdays or Thursdays. There are a variety of opportunities to take part in performances throughout the year and we do hold auditions for some, but not all of the shows. In order to accommodate the large audiences who want to see our productions, we perform at the Festival Hall, Petersfield, and it is necessary to charge a production fee to those members involved in the shows, which helps towards the cost of this excellent venue.

For those who are not able to take part in termly workshops and become full PYT Members, we have opportunities for workshops in the Easter and Summer holidays which are open to non members. You will find details of these projects on the What's on page prior to the Easter and Summer holidays.
